Description

Resting on a group of pale yellow translucent willemite crystals, a well-formed cuprite crystal immediately stands out due to its deep coloration.

The crystal shows a distinct cubic morphology, with slightly softened edges, typical of many cuprites from the Tsumeb mine. Its dark purplish-red to nearly metallic tone contrasts strongly with the honey-colored transparency of the surrounding willemite crystals.
