General Seller's T & Cs and Shipping Policy

These are the default site Terms and Conditions for Sellers on e-Rocks, including shipping policy.
Sellers may have their own specific version for these, these will be published and available via the links in the items listed - see below.

Seller Terms & Conditions

RESPONSE TIME: Seller will generally respond within 24hrs to questions and purchase requests, via the e-Rocks contact and invoice system.

If you contact directly via email this will be the same, via Social media this cannot be guaranteed.

PAYMENTS: All transactions must be currency requested in the invoice.

Preferred payment is via PayPal, this is accessed securely and automatically through the invoice.

Payments might also be accepted offline or via interbank electronic transfer (IBAN), the Seller will supply details if that is your preference.

BUYER PROTECTION: Transactions are between Buyers and Sellers on e-Rocks using PayPal are covered by PayPal's Buyer/Seller Protection - subject to their Terms & Conditions. 

Under PayPal's terms, any Seller reserves the right to use the Buyer's PayPal registered address only as delivery address. Please check with Seller before bidding/buying if you wish to have an item shipped to another address.

SHIPPING: Please refer to shipping costs quoted on individual items and shipping policy section on the item page. All shipping costs subject to prevailing local postage rates, which might change.

Sellers reserve the right to change these rates should underlying costs change.

Shipping costs will economise when 2 or more specimens are purchased together.

Sellers will always quote and charge actual costs. Insurance, Recorded Delivery or alternative Carrier can be provided at cost to purchaser.

Sellers’ mailing address/contact information is found via their profile or on the top of your invoice:

FOR ALL CUSTOMERS: Once the Seller receives your payment the specimen(s) will be packed and sent them within reasonable time – unless you request a Shipping Hold.

RETURNS: If you receive anything you do not like you have a 10-day approval and right to return a specimen(s).

Please notify the Seller immediately (but within the 10 days) and send it back if it arrives damaged or if you are not otherwise happy with what you have been sent. Once it has been received in the condition it was sent the Seller will arrange a refund.
Our intention is only to supply material with 100% customer satisfaction.

If an item is not back with the Seller after 15 days, it will be assumed that you are intending to keep the specimen and the transaction will become final.

More remote customers wishing to return specimens will have a longer period allowed for shipping depending on their location. However we must be notified of your intention to return a specimen within 10 days of receiving it however.

REMEMBER: if there is anything you do not understand - please ask.

Seller Shipping Policy

GENERAL: Shipping costs for the item are given for a delivery region within the table published on this page.

If these costs are not presented, please contact the Seller directly.

Shipping costs for the item shown are inclusive of packaging etc.

Sellers will combine orders to reduce overall shipping cost.

Shipping will be within a reasonable period from receipt of payment, e-Rocks requests that Sellers otherwise will try to ship all packages within 7 days of receipt of payment.

Buyers are notified by Email once an order has been despatched, and the despatch date recorded on your "My Invoices" page.

SHIPPING METHOD: Sellers will ship all items via their preferred local & international carrier/postal service.

Once despatched scheduled delivery time will vary, but delivery should be 1-3 days within the same country, and 5-10 working days Airmail. We will combine orders to reduce overall shipping cost.

If the item is fragile, radioactive or high in value, Sellers/you may prefer shipment with Special Delivery, tracked and insured service.

The costs for this can be quoted by contacting the Seller directly.

PACKING: All items will be packed securely with at least double boxes and shock proof packaging.

Each item sent will have a label detailing the item, Sellers will also include previous labels if available or mentioned in the description.

EXPORT/IMPORT: Sellers will prepare all items for export with appropriate declarations – please contact the Seller if you need something specific created for your shipment.

Sellers are not responsible for import or customs charges if these are subsequently raised.

OVERDUE SHIPMENTS: If a shipment is overdue: in the first instance please contact the Seller to investigate and try to resolve this for you.
This will not affect your statutory rights or right to claim under Paypal’s Buyer protection scheme.
